I've been 29 for more years than I care to remember.

My interests are reading and music not necessarily in that order. I don't mean the rubbish that passes these days for music.I'm particular fond of Beethoven & Schubert. In fact any composer of their calibre.

I'm quite addicted to the works of Jane Austen. Also John Steinbeck is a great favourite of mine.

One of my great interest's is history, English mainly, however I have started to read American history. My interest here stemmed from a television series I saw by chance on the life of John Adams the 2nd President of the United States of America.

I don't like television very much there is so much rubbish on this medium that I find it hard to switch on: I find it quite easy to switch it off. If however. something extraordinary does come on I'll usually watch it on "i-View" on my computer; this way I don't have to put up with advertisements. Too I'll buy the disk set if I feel the program is worth watching more than once.
