Project Manager, Consultant, and Writer in Accra
Lord Horlali Bobbie holds a Bachelors degree in Administration and a Masters in Economic Policy Management from the University of Ghana. He possesses close to a decade’s experience working in international cooperation and development. His skillset span across diverse projects in education, youth empowerment, training facilitation, and Technical & Vocational Education and Training(TVET). His strengths lie in effective communication, both verbal & written, stakeholder engagement, and strong interpersonal skills, which he leverages to build relationships, advocate for causes, and convey complex ideas with clarity.
He currently works with VIS Ghana, an international NGO which focuses on youth empowerment, migration, and promoting local economic development.He has been involved in the implementation of high-value projects such as ones funded by ENI Ghana & its OCTP partners, the European Union and FIFA.
Lord has led workshops/trainings in migration, human rights, employability skills, and teaching methodologies to over 200 participants in the Western and Bono regions of Ghana. His excellent training facilitation skills are evident in his engaging sessions and are always reflected in post training evaluations.
As Job Service Officer at VIS Ghana, he engaged industry, forming over 200 new partnerships between companies/SMEs, leading to increased internships/job placement opportunities for TVET students. He again implemented employability workshops for over 500 TVET students, resulting in a 75% increase in graduates finding jobs/starting businesses within one year of completion.
Prior to his current role, Lord worked with Lead for Ghana, a non-profit focused on improving education outcomes for children in Ghana. In Savelugu, he provided mentorship & guidance to over 60 female students at the Savelugu Girls Model school, supporting their personal and academic development. In terms of volunteering, Lord has volunteered on a number of projects including CAMFED, OXFAM, Curious Minds, Amnesty International, Rise Global, and Eduspots.
He is TVET specialist and adept in Project Management & Coordination with a comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle management,and utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Slack.
Lord is deeply passionate about driving positive change and making a meaningful impact through his work, and is committed to continuous learning and growth.
