Lorea Arakistain

She began working for Elhuyar in 2008. She is the head of the sub-department responsible for children and young people. In addition to doing editing and organisational work in projects geared towards children and young people, she has also run the Zernola Olympiad, Teknoskopioa and the Irrika projects, and coordinated the work to update the web sites of these projects.

She graduated in Journalism at the UPV/EHU-University of the Basque Country (2005). Before starting to work for Elhuyar she worked on radio, particularly on Euskadi Irratia [the Basque Autonomous Community's Basque-language radio station] and the Herri Irratia–Loyola Media radio station. She used to be the head of the Loyola Media Eibar radio station, as well as the editor and presenter of magazine and news programmes.
