Loredana Niculae

My expertise encompasses a background in PR & Communication and more than 15 years of working within social and human rights NGOs in Romania - during which I juggled different roles: volunteer, fundraiser, editor, fundraiser, trainer, fundraiser, coordinator, fundraiser, spokesperson, fundraiser, fundraiser, fundraiser... (Does it look like a spiral of development for you?) I served the LEAST BELOVED/ ACCOMPANIED social categories in Romania. I still strive to do so. I will not yield - it's a luxury I realized I can afford. Lucky me! :) In 2011, I founded The Cultural Agenda FOR CHILDREN in Bucharest - a community project for promoting/ informing about cultural events for children in Bucharest. The Agenda is now the main most comprehensive cultural information aggregator for its niche. And it is a project than I run on voluntarily basis - because 1. I do not want to have only contractual relationships with my community and 2. I am a mother of 2 children and I consider myself the first client of my work (in other words I am doing this work for myself also). Check The Cultural Agenda FOR CHILDREN in Bucharest here: https://www.facebook.com/AgendaCulturalaPentruCopiihttp://agendacopiilor.wordpress.com/(It also has a public library of music for children comprising more than 350 albumes, on Deezer.)Presently, I want to pilot a hospitality exchange platform ONLY FOR ADOLESCENTS - offered and guarded through the library system. In my country, Romania, The National Library of Romania is willing to implement this kind of platform for Romanian youth - so that, they find more reasons AND SUPPORT (including accommodation) to explore the country, met youth from different backgrounds, explore village schools and museums ... and visit other libraries also. We, as partners, are seeking help in terms of funding, mentoring, visibility. Please spread the word! :)
