Loren Grimm

Hi!

My name is Loren Grimm. I was born and raised in a small town in South Carolina named Camden. I come from a very family orientated background and always enjoy being around my family and friends. I grew up playing soccer and volleyball. I love cooking and trying to create new things in the kitchen...even when they don't turn out as planned. I am your typical cat lover and always talk about my cat Bruce. However, I recently crossed over to the darkside and got a puppy. Her name is Bailey and it's safe to say I'm obsessed with her.

I attended the University of South Carolina where I majored in elementary education. I am a huge Carolina Gamecocks fan and on Saturdays in the fall you can find me at Williams Brice Stadium. (Gooooo Cocks!) In the spring and summer you can find me at Lake Wateree and along the coast with my toes in the sand.

I have a passion for teaching and this school year I will embark on my third year of teaching. I started out my teaching career at Forest Heights Elementary School in Richland School District One in a fifth grade classroom. I recently accepted a job at Pontiac Elementary School were I will be teaching fourth grade in a project based learning and AVID classroom. I am so excited to see what the future holds in my professional career.
