Lorena was born in Cuenca, Ecuador, located in the heart of the Andean mountains, Cuenca’s historic center is part of the Unesco World Heritage List. Lorena’s move to Toronto was both an exciting opportunity and a great challenge. Curious by nature, her desire for new experiences led her to expand her comfort zone. As for most Canadian newcomers, she put in an incredible amount of time and efforts to succeed in this competitive city. This has been a difficult but rewarding experience. Lorena has a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Business Management. She has always been passionate about understanding and helping people. She now advises them on how to land their dream job. She has 3 years of solid recruitment experience with large corporations including Fortune 500 clients, as well as medium size businesses. Lorena is a very personable, intelligent, reliable, and a hardworking team member. She partners with our Ward Technology Talent team to maximize both clients and candidates’ success, and bridges the gap between the ever–growing global demand for IT talent and their availability. Her goal is to make a strong contribution with WTT, while developing her skills, in an energetic and cooperative environment. Lorena enjoys cultural activities. The diversity of Toronto spoils her as she feels she has the world in one city. She also has a list of places she wants to visit, in different countries. Indeed, she feels that travelling has always been her best way to learn and expand her awareness.
