My name is Lorena Trotta, I come from Italy and currently live in Germany, where I work as German/English/French-Italian translator/proofreader and German<>Italian interpreter.

I graduated in Translating and Interpreting (bachelor's degree) and in Translation's theory and praxis (master's degree), both at the University of Naples "L'orientale".

Then I specialized in Italian legal translation for Italy and Switzerland.

Since January 2011 I have been working as freelance professional translator and interpreter, providing language services in legal, technical (energy and environment) and marketing fields.

I have experience with CAT tools and I usually work with SDL Trados Studio 2011 or Across v5.7 for technical translations.

Besides my language skills, qualifications, interest and experience in translation and interpreting, I am responsible, punctual and reliable.

Thanks to the several experiences I had abroad and in international working environments, I have developed good communication skills and ability to work under pressure. On the other hand, freelancing requires a good self-management, high quality and excellent organizational skills. That's what I intend to offer you!
