Lorenzo Casaccia

Lorenzo is a veteran of the wireless hi-tech industry with over 10 years of experience in new technologies and industry activities, and a unique background blending humanities and engineering.

Currently, Lorenzo is a Director of Technical Standards at Qualcomm, where he has been involved over time in several projects, with over 25 approved patents, and a track record of leadership of large, geographically distributed teams.

He has also been writing for years for a leading music magazine in Italy on alt-rock and hip-hop music, and enjoys contemporary art.

Lorenzo has graduate degrees in Engineering and Philosophy. He has travelled extensively in Central Asia and the Far East, and has lived in Italy, France, and California.

His interests lie with any creative endeavour that escapes the boundaries of disciplines.
