Lorenzo Garmendiais the founder of the Gold Coast Collegiate League, a groundbreaking collegiate league in South Florida. Garmendia founded GCCL starting with an 8-team league across Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beach counties and successfully completed its Inaugural 2015 Summer Season with hundreds of collegiate players learning new techniques to improve, advance, and enhance their skill set.

Having seen too many above average players who were capable of playing at a more competitive level (varsity H.S., college, and pro) fall short of their potential, Garmendia designed the league for players to use the summer season to enhance their skill set. Partnered with years of research and using different learning techniques, he has introduced innovative methodologies in player development.

By introducing these innovative methods to collegiate players and focusing more on player-specific development rather than just playing games, he has shortened the learning curve and has created a program that will assist players to improve in every aspect of their game.
