Lori Saldaña

Thanks for visiting! I'm a native San Diegan who has seen many changes in my hometown in the last several decades- some for the good, some... not so good.

I enjoy writing about many of these things- between gardening, photography, travel, and activism. After serving 6 years in the California Legislature, I still advocate for policies to improve our regional quality of life. For example: testing ALL DNA evidence collected during sexual assault investigations.

As for work: I'm a Professor of Information Technology for the San Diego Community College District. For over 20 years, I have educated people so they have better lives using technology skills, at work and at home.
