Lori Cornmesser Ruiz is a businesswoman, Mother, public speaker, world traveler and community volunteer. She has worked for years within the channel, spending 11 years among the team of Juniper Networks, helping to grow the company above and beyond before taking a new career step to join Ixia Communications, filling the role of Vice President of Global Channel Sales. This postion is completely new within the company, Cornmesser thus being the first to take it. She has years of experience, knowledge and impressive skill under her belt making her the perfect individual for this new position.

While Cornmesser has focused greatly on her career over the years, she has also put a great deal of her energy into her role as the President of the Silicon Valley Diversity Council. Lori is of African American, Latin and German descent, so she his highly attuned to diversity within the workplace and the need for it in order to create the strongest, most intelligent, dynamic companies in today's global businessplace.

Aside from a highly prestigious career and her community involvements, Lori Cornmesser is married to Tony Ruiz and they have two beautiful children, Mateo and Sofia. Cornmesser understands the importance of balancing your professional life with your family life, as well as your personal life, and that this balance is the key to happiness. She is a world traveler who loves to cook and enjoys anything that promotes a healthy lifestyle, such as yoga and kickboxing. She loves the outdoors as well and is constantly keeping up with current events.

Lori Cornmesser earned her Bachelor of the Arts from Florida State University, focusing her studies on Business law and Economics. She then went on to earn her MBA from Columbus University.

Lori is an advocate for women's equality and multicultural diversity in the workplace. Being a mother and a full-time executive at her company, Lori has learned the beauty of balance between both sides of her life. Lori travels frequently for her job as a Sales Executive, and she is always looking for ways to improve the on-the-go lifestyle!
