Lori Hellkamp joined Jones Day in Washington, D.C. in 2008, where she currently serves as a partner in the tax practice. Utilizing creative and practical approaches to problem solving, she helps clients address complex tax issues in the context of tax controversies, mergers and acquisitions, and international and corporate tax. Among other services, she furnishes counsel on tax-efficient structures for clients undertaking cross-border restructurings and other transactions.
Over her career, Ms. Hellkamp has spoken frequently on panels and authored numerous publications on tax-related topics. Among her recent articles, she wrote a piece that examined the anti-hybrid rules for Tax Notes and another on the tax implications of virtual currencies for the Corporate Counsel Business Journal.
