Lori is Founder|Owner of Early Warning Entertainment, Sea Glass Coffee House, and Sea Glass Events.
Early Warning provides military advisory and game industry consultation for the Entertainment and Defence Industries. Members of Early Warning include both currently serving and retired Canadian Armed Forces & US Military.
International law enforcement and security organizations have worked with Lori in understanding and preparing for virtual world culture and threats to games associated with crime in online gaming. Lori has contributed to the INTERPOL Working Party on Information Technology Crime, regarding Gaming and Virtual Worlds.
Previous to Early Warning, Lori specialized in game security, focusing on anti-cheating, anti-piracy, and secure distribution in the AAA game industry.
Before joining the game industry, Lori was employed by the Government of Canada, and responsible for system design and security architecture.
Lori taught as Professor at Canadore College, instructing in the Game Design & Development and Cybersecurity programs. As Subject Matter Expert she assisted in the development of the college’s Bachelor of Computer Science.
Now retired from the game and security industries, Lori owns and operates local businesses in a quaint seaside town.
