Lorne Lieberman

An executive and entrepreneur with a successful history in retail goods, Lorne Lieberman spent more than 10 years as Chief Executive Officer of Barewalls.com, a pioneering force in online poster sales and distribution. Along with his longtime business partner, Lorne Lieberman co-founded Barewalls Interactive Art, Inc. at the dawn of the mid-1990s Internet retail era. Taking advantage of the burgeoning market for online retail, Lorne Lieberman quickly built Barewalls Interactive Art and Barewalls.com into the first names in posters and prints, with a worldwide customer base. As Barewalls.com tackled the evolving landscape of search engine optimization, Lorne Lieberman and his partner proved highly effective at claiming the top spot for general inquiries on art, posters, and other relevant terms, which resulted in the company’s exponential growth. By 2003, Barewalls.com had become one of Internet Retailer’s Top 50 Retailing Sites on the Internet, an honor that placed the company alongside Amazon, eBay, Dell, 1-800-Flowers, Best Buy, and other major firms. Acquired by Missouri Moulding and Glass (MMG) in 2005, Barewalls Interactive Art has continued to flourish with comprehensive offerings in fine art, magazine, vintage, film, and music posters and prints. As a testament to his exemplary performance at Barewalls Interactive Art, Business Week featured Lorne Lieberman in a lengthy piece on search engine optimization. A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Lorne Lieberman was born and raised in Montreal.
