My name is Lisa Orona. I graduated from Carlsbad High School in 2012. I am now going to college and working on getting my Associates degree in Criminal Justice. I live by doing my best and never giving up on my life dreams.
My life dream is to be a lawyer and own a law firm. I want to be a lawyer because I want to help people.
To be a lawyer, I have to be strong in my heart, and have faith in myself. I also need to read, speak, and ague well; I try my best to practice all of these skills. I can make a good argument and my voice is strong as well.
I worked at Taco Bell in 2011 for eight months, and Wal-Mart in 2011-2012. I am currently working at Lowes, and I have been there for four months. While working, I learned how to communicate with people I don’t know, what I can and can’t say to make the customers happy, and how to handle money responsibly. I don’t want to be working at these places my whole life.
I want to be in action, standing in front of the judge to prove and win my cases. I want to be a criminal lawyer, accident attorney, or family lawyer, and I believe with the education I will receive, the skills I own, and the heart and mind I have, I will become a lawyer in the future.
