My name is Lorraine Bailey-Carter; as the Founder and Chief Woman of Vision for The Women’s Challenge, Inc. (TWC), I started this non-profit to fulfill my heart’s desire for serving others.

As a women’s empowerment organization, TWC creatively challenges and educates today’s women to be healthy—physically, financially, and spiritually. I believe my willingness and ability to serve others is a direct reflection of me possessing the gifts of compassion and love. I’ve endured more than most, but have never let it dim my light to help others. My family would say that I care too much and am overly concerned for the well-being of others and their achievements. Nevertheless, my overall passion for women and their plight(s) in life drive me to produce change by working on their behalf. When you think of service and empowerment, consider ME a strong resource!

As a 40-year member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where I was the State Coordinator of Home Ownership for three years, and currently as a licensed Maryland Realtor for the past 13 years, service runs through my veins.
