Lorrie Schoettler
Organic farmer, archetypal astrologer, nonprofit management professional, and relaxed middle-ager – I seek to serve my community by using these skills and talents to create wellness in my life, and helping others do the same. As a wife and mother (of adult children) I move in the world deeply connected to the truth of my own beautiful future defined by love of place and people.
Professionally, I have an archetypal astrology counseling practice that is international at this point in time, and a consulting firm that serves small businesses and nonprofits in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Bob, my husband, is a well-established graphic artist, we serve many clients together. We are also creating a productive farm that feeds us and many of our friends and neighbors. Mushroom cultivation for personal use, as well as sale to the public is on the immediate horizon.
The lens of my life is ecopsychological: how is my wellness reflecting the wellness of the natural environment that is the container of my life? How does my community reflect a commitment to this relationship between terra and psyche? My ecopsychological perspective is one of Depth, and the works of Jung, Hillman, Macy, Berry, Pye, Johnson, Bolen, and Downing among others are my road-maps. My education rests in the contemplative style of Naropa University and a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology (the relationship between spirituality and psychology).
I work mostly with women, in their middle and mature years, participating in the collective shift toward Feminine Power. My services and rates arehere.
I look forward to growing in community as my life takes the turn toward elder.
