A Mississippi native, Carlos attended the University of Mississippi (BBA Management Information Systems 2011) where he was accepted as a proud student, determined worker, and fellow faculty/staff colleague. During his time, he became a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated, making him the first ever member of the fraternity to attend the University of Mississippi, thereby gaining more respect and notoriety because of this accomplishment.

Throughout his academia, Carlos worked proudly as a Student Consultant at the IT Helpdesk, a mentor/counselor for the IMAGE (Increasing Minority Access to Graduate Education) program, and a Senior Secretary at the Department of English.

After leaving the University of Mississippi in 2011, Carlos began to as an Associate Technical Business Analyst at FNC, Inc. During this time, his analytical, problem solving, organization, leadership, and decision making abilities began to grow professionally and personally. In August 2014, Carlos was promoted to Technical Business Analyst I within FNC. In 2017, he was promoted to Business Systems Analyst Intermediate within the newly acquired Corelogic/FNC.

His fraternity life continued to grow. In December 2012, Carlos accepted the position of Mississippi State Director of Iota Phi Theta, expanding his leadership opportunities in the Fraternity until June 2016. Carlos was then appointed National Director of Technology, making him a part of the Grand Council of Iota Phi Theta.

There are so many things about Carlos Maury, but only one constant: Evolution. As time begins to change, so does he. Evolving from timidness to the life of a room, the one thing that stands out about Carlos is...Carlos. He has been blessed with a focus to take on any task with only a desire to learn and improve. The drive and aspiration to be successful is what brought him much respect among his peers and associates.
