15+ yrs (digital) media experience, at media agencies, digital marketing agency and lastly at LinkedIn.

At LinkedIn I was heading up and building the Marketing Solutions business in the Benelux. LinkedIn's mission is to connect the world's professionals to make them more productive and successful.

Before, I started and headed up twist, a digital marketing agency as a part of Kobalt. Focused on consulting, education and research in digital marketing, consulting multiple clients on the optimum mix in internet, mobile and other digital media.

In my passion for digital marketing, I aim to help educate, regulate and link the digital advertising and marketing industry. This goal is what I pursue by being a member of the board of the IAB, a speaker at events and an active contributor to the social platforms on these topics. I have written a column on digital marketing for a Dutch trade magazine ('tijdschrift voor marketing' ) for two years.

In order to help change the industry towards more digital, innovative strategic thinking, I thoroughly enjoy participating in juries as this offers a change to see and help the best new talents, new ventures or best marketing and advertising campaigns. In this context I have been chairman of the ' Spinawards' media jury for 4 years, as well as a jury for Accenture innovation awards' , 'trendwatcher of the year', the Esprix Jury and a mentor at startup bootcamp.
