One day, as I often do, I was checking my lottery tickets. On one of those tickets I kept matching numbers. First number. Check. Second number. Check. Third number. Check. Fourth number. Check. Fifth number. Check. Sixth number. Missed.

I got 5-out-of-6 numbers. I was so close to winning a $5 million jackpot, but I only won $1500. I should have been happy that I won $1500, but I wasn't. I wanted the jackpot. I became interested in lottery winners. How do they react to winning? How does winning make them feel? What do they do with all of the money? I began living vicariously through other lottery winners.

Then I started writing about them. Now i write the winners blog, www.BigLotteryWinners.com, a blog that is getting to be quite popular.
