Lottie Moulster

Ipswich, Suffolk, UK

Hi. I'm Lottie.

The first thing you should know about me is that I'm not your typical 18 year old girl. I'd much rather spend the night in with a mug of hot chocolate, a good book and a pair of cosy jammies than go out on the town, party, get drunk, whatever it is that those other girls like to do with their time.

The second thing you should know about me is that you should approach me with extreme caution. If I have watched or seen or read something I like, I'm probably doing a mixture of sqeualing, screaming, crying, fainting, very odd movements. This something is called squeeing. Do not approach me when this is occuring. I'll probably kill you.

So now that that's out of the way, let's get down to some more general business. As previously mentioned, I am a fangirl. A nerdy one. I'm talking full on Comic Con, cosplay, fanfiction, movie marathons, crying at character deaths. If you do not know of or cannot relate to any of these things, you should probably stop reading here. I don't think I'm your kind of person.

We've talked about my personality, time to talk interests:

  • Reading. Obviously, I enjoy a bit of reading (I say "a bit" in the loosest possible way)... Mostly dystopia and fantasy, with a teensy bit of scifi thrown in there, but also some gritty, heart crushing, soul tearing real life stuff. My favourite book is The Fault In Our Stars by the fantastic John Green (Oh yeah, nerdfighter alert!) but I also love books such as Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Divergent and Skulduggery Pleasant.
  • TV. The bane of my life. I watch so many shows I don't understand it myself, but a few of my entionable favourites include: Doctor Who (obviously), Supernatural, Sherlock, Game Of Thrones, Wolfblood and Waterloo Road (hate me all you want for that one...)
  • Musical Theatre. I have been a fan of musical theatre from the age of about 8, the first musical I saw being Grease in Torquay at the Princess Theatre. I have since performed in two years of scouts and guides Gang Show and three other musicals and am currently taking part in a cabaret evening as well as a small play written by a friend. Three of my favourite past times: acting, singing, dancing. All together. It's my kind of heaven. To those wondering, my favourite musical has to be Matilda (OH MY DAYS THAT SHOW ASDFGHJKL), closely followed by Wicked and Les Miserables.
