Louis LaPointe
The visions of our Souls are seen in the actions of today,
And Live in the Reality of Tomorrow. ---Louis LaPointe
Louis LaPointe is a first nation citizen, Native American Lakota Sioux. Originally from South Dakota, he has traveled the country connecting with people from all walks of life in a mission to reach hearts in need.
In spite of having strong faith and family supports, teenage Louis faced hardships that lead to many addictions and a yearning for pain. The addiction to pain is the root that all addictions grow from and inhibited Louis from making positive change until the day he flatlined in a drunk driving accident. God gave Louis a second chance at life but after years of success he hit rock bottom and found himself living on the streets. Through loss, Louis found God and His will to serve with Buenos Barrios and Kingdom Service Outreach. Through the Grace of God, Louis now uses his trials to pass on the knowledge that pain brings and empower others with compassionate wisdom.
Louis understands that most people refuse to open up out of shame or the thought that someone may look down on them on their decisions or past. He believes that people share the same values, they are just held in different orders. That is why his goal is to tear down stereotypes whether it be religion or social status and show people that we are all the same person, we are all one regardless of the pieces that have been broken. Louis believes in the power of will and charitable WORK to empower people to serve the greater good.
