I am a translator, editor and proofreader working from French and Russian into English.
Prior to becoming a translator, I had a career spanning 14 years in the commercial sector with companies including Rolls-Royce plc and Baring Private Equity Partners. I now undertake translation, text editing and proofreading work focusing on the energy, marketing and industrial services sectors as well as general business translation and less specialised subject matter.
In recent years I have spent time working and studying in France (Tours and Bordeaux) and Russia (Ekaterinburg and Novosibirsk), improving my knowledge of the language and culture of these two nations.
