Louis D'Agostino

Mr. D’Agostino is a Partner and Senior Vice President of Iron Cove Partners, LLC, a Whitmore Group, Ltd. Co. Mr. D’Agostino is responsible for the oversight and management of a Unit within Iron Cove dedicated to addressing the unique and complex risk management needs of companies engaged in the arena of financial services. i.e. Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, Investment Advisors, Securities/Dealers, Mutual Funds and the like. He is also intimately involved in a variety of business development and corporate initiatives as well as being a member of the Whitmore Group, Ltd. Senior Management Team.

Prior to his role at Iron Cove, Mr. D’Agostino had spent his previous ten (10) years at Frank Crystal & Co., a 75-year old insurance brokerage agency headquartered in NYC. Most recently as a Director in the Financial Services Department responsible for the negotiating and placement of Management and Professional Liability Insurance on behalf of Investment Advisors, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Commercial & Investment Banks and Securities Broker/Dealers.

Mr. D’Agostino’s expertise however spans over a wide array of commercial businesses including but not limited to Real Estate, Not-for-Profit’s, Manufacturing, Retail & Technology firms.

Prior to Frank Crystal & Co., Mr. D’Agostino was a running back with the NY Jets (96’ & 97’), the Florida Bobcats of the Arena Football League (98’) and the New York/New Jersey Hitmen of the XFL (01’). He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Rhode Island. Additionally, he has obtained his Series 7 & 63 Securities Licenses as well as his Property & Casualty and Life/Health & Annuity Insurance Licenses. Mr. D’Agostino is also involved in a variety of philanthropic endeavors and supports a number of charities. More recently he was honored for his work and fund raising efforts for the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation. Additionally, in 2012, he served on event committees for Bethany House and the American Cancer Society.
