I'm battling borderline personality disorder and depression. I am currently in DBT and not working. In 2013, I fell seriously ill and had to leave nursing school. I ended up in the psychiatric unit on a few occassions for suicide attempts or plans. I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and started treatment in October 2013.

I live in 24 hour supported accommodation, which helps me to keep safe. It's like halfway house between hospital and full independence in the community.

I blog about living with borderline personality disorder to help raise awareness of this horrible illness and hopefully challenege the stigma which surrounds it.

My main interests are music (particulary metal, hardcore, metalcore, pop punk), writing (I write all the time), reading, cooking and mental health.

I am in recovery and am starting to make progress in DBT. I believe that recovery is possible!
