Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I was born in Toronto (TO), Canada. At age five my father was transferred from TO to Ventura County, California to accept a new position at the Procter & Gamble Plant on Rice Road, Oxnard, California. We stayed in a beach house in Port Hueneme (pronounced "why-knee-me") until we bought a house in Ventura. I have been in the USA ever since. I attended K-12, two colleges in Ventura, California, and two universities -- University of Phoenix and Kaplan University. The area of Ventura where I grew up was called the "bird track." This is probably one of the largest housing developments in the history of Ventura. I attended Anacapa Junior High for 3 years, and Buena High School, Ventura.

Santa Barbara is only 30 minutes North of Ventura. When you live in the same house for years and are blessed to have the breadwinner "hold down 1 job his entire life, you attend the same schools. You do NOT move around from neighborhood-to-neighborhood or house-to-house or school-to-school.

I have been blessed to own a yacht, live on several boats, and a custom ski boat, painted to match our 4-wheel drive. I taught a few people how to water ski.

Life is good. Count your blessings. Stay positive. Be sure to get your "me" time. Everyone in my family needs that quiet time. That is important to stay balanced.

I am skeptical about sharing my work history and personal photographs online because of the new era we have entered: #cybersecurity. Another concern I have is #identitytheft. I imagine in the near future, universities across the nation will develop educational degrees for this -- either that or the government will regulate an internal "watchdog program."

I will finish this soon. Last updated 11-23-15
