Have you ever seen the film Up? Watching it for the first time, I heard the phrase ‘adventure is out there’, and it stuck with me ever since. Curiosity and adventure have always been huge parts of my personality, and over the past few years I’ve had the freedom to let them thrive.

Since finishing my studies, I’ve been travelling the world, documenting my experiences as I go and loving every minute. Whether I’m skiing in Les Menuires, golfing in the Algarve or chilling out in luxurious Menorca villas, chances are I have something to say about it! Originally I stuck to keeping a personal journal and updating friends and family via social media, but I soon realised that I was itching to inspire fellow travellers with my travel tips and have my voice heard.

So, just a few months ago I decided to start my blog, The Armchair Traveller. I wanted to use the platform to not only give tips and advice, but to encourage people to go out and explore the world! Discovering new places can give you so much more than a few cool photos on your camera roll – you become more aware of cultures, find skills you never thought you had, make friends for life… it really is the most amazing experience. I’ve been writing about everything from accessible holidays to interesting cruises to resorts in Lanzarote, and I’m certainly not stopping there – my dream is to travel to every country on the planet! I even offer advice about transport, including recommended road trips and shuttle airport transfers.

Since becoming a travel blogger, my globetrotting experiences have felt even more fulfilling. I’m spreading the word to all of my readers that adventure really is out there, wherever you go and whoever you go with. There’s always something new to discover somewhere.
