Hi, I’m Louise!
I got a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Arizona, and my experience there taught me about how much I love learning about languages, people, and cultures.

After I graduated, I knew my time in academia wasn’t over yet, I just wasn’t sure where to go next. After re-evaluating what’s important to me, I discovered that design is a medium I can use to exercise my creativity while also creating work that can have an impact on peoples’ lives. As a design intern for USGS, I have been able to create graphics that celebrate climate science researchers, and also educate the general public about climate science. It’s rewarding to see the impact of my work, and know that I’ve been able to help others. It’s been a long road figuring out my passion, but each step has taken me where I need to be!
