People know me as Eric B., and my career has been shaped by a passion for music, creativity, and building something that lasts. I was born in East Elmhurst, Queens, New York, and grew up during the early days of hip-hop. As one half of Eric B. & Rakim, I helped create music that influenced the direction of the genre, including Paid in Full, which was later inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Over the years, I have expanded my work beyond music into entrepreneurship, restaurant ownership, acting, and television, with roles in Blue Bloods and Godfather of Harlem. Today, I continue performing as a DJ and producer while exploring new creative opportunities and supporting the culture that helped shape my career.
