Louis Ortiz

I'm currently a student attending Syracuse University in Central New York with an expected graduation date in May 2014. One of my major goals is to work for a news organization as a reporter and/or producer. I am willing to get experience and connections in order to reach my goals. I also want to connect with people who work in the news and media industry in order to excel my goals and gain more knowledge. On the university campus, I currently work at the CitrusTV News Department, where I am a reporter and assist with the production of news broadcasts several times a week. I have worked in most positions off-air and behind the scenes at the newscast. This summer, I'm interning with NBC for Dateline and Rock Center with Brian Williams, helping in the production aspects of both primetime news magazines including logging, dubbing tapes, production resarch, and aid to the show producers.
