Lou Javell
An expert Accountant, Lou Javell aids in the success of Blackstone Restoration Group's remodeling business. Lou Javell's concern for others is demonstrated not only through his renovation of damaged property, but also by his service to his community.
In 1990, Lou Javell enrolled in classes at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where he maintained impressive academic standing, including placement on the Dean's List. Before earning his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1995, Lou Javell helped sponsor a holiday children's fundraising event for St. John's Hospital.
Today, Lou Javell serves as Project Coordinator for Chicago's Blackstone Restoration Group, Inc., a business focused on repairing and renovating properties damaged by fire or water. He performs work with insurance providers as well as the company's accounting duties. Additionally, Lou Javell remains an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC), and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
As a dedicated supporter of the Black Bear Academy and Children International, Chicago resident Lou Javell works to build a better community through educational programs and child sponsorship. Furthermore, Lou Javell has charitably donated to St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church and the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer.
Aside from his charitable work, Lou Javell practices the dynamic fighting techniques of Hapkido, a Korean martial art involving kicking and percussive hand strikes. Lou Javell also enjoys traveling in his spare time.
