Love Sarin
Love Sarin is the CEO & President of Banyan Environmental Inc. He received a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay and an Sc. M. in Engineering from Brown University. He founded Banyan Environmental after completion of PhD studies at Brown University. He was instrumental in the basic research underlying Banyan’s technologies which aim to capture the neuorotoxin mercury and reduce mercury pollution, prevent direct mercury exposure and assist with mercury remediation. He received an Advanced E-Team grant designed for student teams from National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance, was selected in 2009 Venture Well Cohort, was selected for I2P Asia 2008 competition in Thailand, was the Principle Investigator on a Small Business grant from the National Science Foundation and has received a collaborative Research Alliance award from Rhode Island Science & Technology Advisory Council. He is a member of TiE, a non-profit organization with world’s largest network of entrepreneurs and was a fellow at the Startup Leadership Program 2010 at TiE-Boston. He has years of hands-on experience with Banyan's core technology and a passion to create value by promoting sustainable solutions.
