An accomplished and seasoned Human Resources Manager/Sr. Generalist with over 13 years of Government contracting proven expertise in policy and procedures, recruiting and retention protocols, effective hiring practices, personnel development, legal compliance, training and motivation, compensation, benefit administration, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems. Additional business characteristics include having sound experience in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, and production methods. Also I am a activist for Habitat for Humanity, Green Peace, National Wild Life Federation, and Susan G. Komen. For nearly a decade, I have been working towards lessening my carbon footprint. Growing up in Wash DC has exposed me to the both the issues surrounding the environment and how slow change in policies can take. From knowing the source of my where I purchase my groceries, how I commute, to being cognizant of the businesses that I patronize, I make sure that I am acting responsibly. I have nearly completed the transformation of my home to “green” and working towards purchasing my first “green” vehicle. The environment is changing faster now than at any time in history. From the melting of the polar ice caps, the migration of such diseases like malaria and West Nile, to the disappearing of the rainforests, it is important to understand that if we stand by and do nothing, our world will be lost. I also was responsible for helping to build 100's of homes for families for the Wash, DC area and New Orleans.
