Pancreatic Cancer Survivor

My name is Adrienne Smith. My husband Roy, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August of 2010. At 72 years old he underwent the Whipple surgery “in September 2010. All visible cancer cells were removed during that operation. After several months of chemo therapy and radiation to destroy any remaining cancer cells, if any, he was deemed ‘cancer free’ in April 2011.

One year later in May, 2012 the result of a regular scheduled CT scan detected an enlarged lymph node near his aorta. A biopsy was performed and my husband was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer.

The Oncologist and Radiologist whom we had come to develop a nice relationship with, sadly informed us that there was nothing that could be done, other than slowing the progression of the cancer with chemo therapy if more cancer cells were to show up and he was to become sick. There was no reason to start the chemo at that time because it would just make him sick whereas, his health was stable, appetite healthy, energy level was good etc. We were told In the event future Ct scans indicated the cancer was progressing, he could choose to undergo chemotherapy at that time.

After leaving the office, I told my husband: “Well THEY can’t do anything but we know what WE are going to do.” I had already done considerable research on a Product called Immunocal and its effectiveness in helping persons to fight cancer successfully. We therefore, decided to immediately do a thorough investigation of the product’s effectiveness. Our research resulted in our ordering the Immunocal and Roy started taking it on June 1, 2012.

Here we are three CT scans later, and the cancer has not progressed! The last CT scan and Lab test results in September, 2012 much to the surprise of the Oncologist, the tumor had decreased in size! Along with that, Roy’s overall health has been very good for a 75 year old man living with parts of his pancreas,, liver, duodenum and small intestine missing.
