Lowell Wintrup
An accomplished entrepreneur and angel investor, Lowell Wintrup has played an instrumental role in facilitating business growth for a wide variety of companies. Focusing primarily on software and real estate companies, Lowell Wintrup targets organizations that are looking to go public as an exit strategy. Since his first foray into the industry, Lowell Wintrup has built a portfolio that includes over 10 privately held companies, as well as four publicly held companies throughout the United States and Canada. Presently, Lowell Wintrup serves as the Chairman of a publicly traded company and sits on the advisory and directors boards of various companies. In addition to his work as an investor, Lowell Wintrup channels his corporate development expertise into his role as President of Connect1 Corp, a company he founded in 1995. In this capacity, Lowell Wintrup implements business growth strategies that have resulted in the company’s considerable expansion, resulting in the company’s reputation as a leader in outsourced sales solutions. Through Connect1 Corp., Lowell Wintrup offers innovative customer relationship management (CRM) solutions to clients across a broad range of industries, including financial services, retail, publishing, among others. Lowell Wintrup has been a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), where he served on the Board of Directors from 2001 to 2004. Lowell Wintrup holds a BComm. with Honours from the University of Manitoba. He has held an executive role with Tone Interactive, a digital marketing company he established, as well as several roles with GTE Transcontinental. As co-founder and former President of Tone Interactive, Inc., Lowell Wintrup played a key role in developing groundbreaking digital marketing solutions for a broad range of clientele. In 2001, Lowell Wintrup sold Tone Interactive to Caxton Group.
