Lindsay Partridge

After graduating from Sydney Conservatorium of Music, I have 40 years' experience in Australia and overseas in musicals, cabaret and across the wider music scene.

I have worked in all the professional musicals worth seeing in Australia, and quite a few not in this category. If you audition for musicals I've probably played for you at some time or other.

I've played for shows around Australia and New Zealand, in Canada, on cruise ships, and in Andrew Lloyd Webber's first concert tour of China. With the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, I played piano in Sondheim's Follies In Concert and on the Symphonicity tour with Sting.

I'm fluent in French (Université Lumière Lyon 2), and at various levels speak German, Italian and Thai. I also have an ESL teaching qualification from the Royal Society of Arts.

My speciality is coaching singers for music theatre auditions or cabaret performances.

I have composed for children's theatre, and am often engaged in arrangement and transcription work for singers.

I live in Newtown, Sydney, with my partner Natt.
