Hello. I'm LaQuita, but in the blogging world, I go by Lacē L. Pearls. I started blogging in 2014 as a hobby, then as a Health and Lifestyle blogger but quickly found that trying to appease others was not the way that I wanted to go. So, I let go of my forcibly likeable blog niche in September 2015 and relaunched my Fashion Blog, “Lace Leather Pearls” first as a lookbook in January 2016 and a month later revealed my personal style.

Lace Leather Pearls is a fashion blog that chronicles my obsession to blend the delicate and classy Vintage style with my sassy, sometimes sexy fashion choices.

I don't follow the sizing labels of the Fashion industry; I'm happily straddling the fence of petite and the society construed "plus" size. Living as, what I like to call, a Multiple Sclerosis Warrior presents many challenges-one of which being managing my weight, which I recently discussed in my blog post entitled “I Wear a Size: Curvy.”

It is what l makes me unique in this already saturated blogging world. But, I'm a creative writer first. I love writing Poetry, short stories, and essays. So, you will most always find a ‘moral to the story’ in my blog posts.

Having attempted two prior blogging niches, I've finally found my comfort zone and I'm loving it!
