Lindsay Reid

I am currently teaching grades 3 and 4 in an inner city school, which has its share of unique challenges and opportunities. Next year I'll be teaching grades 2 and 3, which is another new beginning in a long line of new teaching journeys for me. I have taught many different grades, in many different contexts including high school social studies, grades 3-7, Core French, and even a practicum in Dharamsala, India.

I began taking courses to complete a certificate in teacher librarianship last semester, and am hoping to gain a library position in the near future.

My interests include reading, cooking, traveling, geocaching, movies, gaming, trying out craft breweries, and spending time outdoors. I love to bring my interests into the classroom when possible, and have enjoyed both baking and geocaching with my students on multiple occasions.
