I'm 'old school' newspaper, but spent 14 years getting my "master's" in new school digital journalism with EO Media Group. I'm back in the newsroom and will bring it all together. I love journalism and will bolster the fight for First Amendment and Freedom of Information, locally and through my role as board member of the Associated Press Media Editors association. as a way to bring community together.
We are a family-owned group of newpapers and websites, and our employees are just as passionate about news and serving communities as any other media outlet. The plus is we are the only LOCAL newsgathering source.
In 2016, I have the honor of leading the Associated Press Media Editors as its president. This national group aims to help newsroom leaders commit great journalism, as well as advice the Associated Press and weigh in on national issues.
