Leah Solomon

Ever since my dad gave me Rolling Stone's Limited Collectors Edition of 100 Best Artists of All Time, I have been completely and utterly obsessed with music and writing about it. I like to think that I have quite an adventurous palette as a I love music from pretty much every genre known to man. Everything has something to offer.

So, the combination of writing and music led me to where I am today - a 3rd year Journalism and Media Studies student at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa, as well as the Music & Culture Editor for Archetype Online Magazine.

I love South Africa and its incredible music scene. I think some of the world's gem's are hidden away here, and they deserve to be discovered. This is why, when I graduate, that I will aim to write about as many South African bands and musicians in the hopes that it'll help them thrive, musically.

Apart from that, I am a liberal, kind-hearted and loving person. I'm shy at first, but who isn't?
