Louis Sokol

Caregiver, Zayde, and Consultant in Washington, DC

Hi, I’m Louis Sokol. I live in Washington, DC with my wife, and near our son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons. I retired in December 2022 after multiple careers as a geologist, chemist, drilling fluid scientist, computer repair tech and BNI Executive Director.

What do you do when you retire after working continuously from grad school through that last day? You keep yourself busy. Family comes first but I am volunteering for the Library of Congress and visiting DC museums. I plan to teach bridge for seniors again and write a book about my 25 year BNI experience which culminated in being the Executive Director for BNI DC. Most of all I want to be with my grandsons when they start Little League or soccer or whatever they want to do.

I have a lot to offer as a consultant for geology, chemistry, oil field operations, computer repair, bridge teacher, and business referral networking techniques that put new clients in the pocket of an entrepreneur. Contact me at [email protected].
