I'm a quirky, creative writer who loves to sit in my "front porch office" and discuss the latest blog posts with the birds and squirrels. The neighbors probably think I'm nuts... and I am... but I blame it on menopause... and two teenage stepchildren. 'Nuff said, right?

I once traveled to Memphis, TN, with my husband and our vintage blues band, "Toot and and the Longshots," to represent the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina in an international blues competition. An experience of a lifetime, especially when I threw up on stage. Just kidding. But I sure felt like it.
