Lt Col Paul Quigley

As branch chief for antiterrorism force protection (AT/FP) at the security forces operations division headquarters of the United States Air Force (USAF), Lt. Col. Paul Quigley heads up the Air Force’s creation of doctrine, guidance, and policy on AT/FP. He brings nearly two decades of military experience to the assignment. Lt. Col. Paul Quigley joined the service through the reserve officer training corps (ROTC) program at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has since completed additional training as a squadron officer, and he holds two master’s degrees: one in international relations and another in counseling and leadership.

Over the course of his career, Lt. Col. Quigley has been posted around the United States and the world. He has held leadership positions at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, and the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. He also served for a time as defense force commander in Camp Bucca, Iraq.
