Hello there! Before I introduce myself, I just want to say thank you for taking the time to stop by and learn a little bit about me. It's such an honor to have someone read my writing, whether it's academic or for fun, because it gives me the chance to share my ideas and stories with others. INTRODUCTION

My name is Linda Thao and I am a Hmong American woman living in the US. I was born in Fresno, California. At the age three, I moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin along with my parents, three sisters and four brothers. We lived in three bedroom duplex on Galena Street, across from the convenience store where I would sometimes go with my sister to buy Flammin Hots. We moved to a different neighborhood to the northwestern area of Milwaukee. We have been living there ever since. In 2010, I moved to Madison, WI for school. I attended University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated not too long ago. I receive my Bachelor of Science in Retailing and certificate in Asian American Studies and Entrepreneurship.

I hope to pursue a my MBA in the future. For now, I am currently working and saving money to teach in Thailand for a year.
