I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in 2013. I've been sick as hell since then but, as they say, there's no cloud without a silver lining. I've come to realize that life is worth living even when it's a crappy, exhausting affair such as mine. I've spent many weary days and hours thinking about what I've done and left undone. What's worked and what hasn't. Frankly, I think I've made a success of what I've had to work with. I've lived a fullfilling, interesting, changable life and I have few regrets. I've done good things for people and animals, I am a good friend and sister and daughter. I just wish I had more time. There are so many good books left to read.
