Born and raised in Sants Fe New Mexico, I spent the early childhood and teen years riding horses and competing in various equestrian events such as horse shows and barrel racing.

Attended New Mexico State University majoring in Sociology.

Employed at the Telephone Company as a Business Office Supervisor for 17 years was a great job until the divestiture of the Bell System and AT&T created downsizing and a chance to relocate to Austin Texas, which I promptly declined.

1986 - 2013 at AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company as a Registered Representative until my retirement.

Currently I serve as the Executive Director for NAIFA - National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, where I serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors.
