Researcher | Writer | Curator
I am a researcher, writer, and curator whose work focuses on Palestinian arts, cultural heritage, and visual narratives. My practice is grounded in a commitment to exploring the intersections of art, memory, and resistance.
My research examines Palestinian cinema during the revolutionary period of the 1970s, with a particular interest in how film functioned as a tool of political expression and cultural preservation. I am also engaged in ongoing projects on Palestinian artisanal heritage—exploring the cultural and economic histories of craft practices—and a developing body of work on "escaped letters" from Palestinian political prisoners, tracing personal narratives and epistolary resistance.
As a curator, I have organized cultural programs and exhibitions that center Palestinian voices, including projects on revolutionary cinema, community archives, and visual storytelling. My work aims to amplify underrepresented histories and foster dialogue about representation and cultural resilience.
I hold a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies and both a Graduate Diploma and a Master’s in Arts Management from Queen’s University, Canada.
