Luca Spinelli

Luca Spinelli is a prominent Italian Swiss journalist and author. He has written for national newspapers and magazines, with articles and investigative reports that were cited in parliamentary inquiries and that contributed to legislative changes and national initiatives. He focuses on innovation, culture, development policies, and their regulatory frameworks. One of his pieces was nominated for the Ischia International Journalism Award. For several years he was among the most followed Italian journalistic bloggers (Blogbabel) and managed communication projects for corporate groups, law firms, and NGOs.

He is the founder of Oscon, a nonprofit legal project that disseminates a free standard contract widely adopted in Italy and provides pro bono legal and tax advice. He contributed to the official Italian translation of the Creative Commons 4.0 licenses.

Trained by Alessandro Dal Lago, Salvatore Palidda, and Carlo Freccero, he served briefly as a guest lecturer at the University of Genoa and, for ten years, as a scientific consultant on accessibility regulations for public administration (University of Genoa). A former member of the Italian Ergonomics Society, he designed the first Italian university portal included in the ministerial accessibility list.

As an author, he has recently worked on projects dedicated to the conservation, cataloging, and enhancement of cultural, historical, and urban heritage in Liguria.
