Always interested in the working principles underlying a wireless communication, I started to focus myself in the domain of integrated circuits during my Master's in Microelectronics. Thanks to my PhD with STMicroelectronics and my working experience afterwards, I acquired high skills in the domain of high-frequency telecommunication systems, both at a circuit level and at a system level.
The chance to work in the development of a Ku-band active electronically scanned array (AESA) antenna for airplane-satellite high data-rate communications gave me the chance to deal with the challenges coming from both the space environment and from industrial time-cost constraints.
The need to develop a completely new product became to me very instructive, getting me to participate in its creation from the earliest phases to the prototype and future production.
