Luca Cattaneo
Consultant and Freelance in Monaco
Hi, I’m Luca.
After completing University studies I became a registered freelance and part-time journalist, specialized in sports photography.
From 1987 I was an active member of the agency PentaPhoto in Milan, and then a correspondent for the Associated Press. I covered major sports events around the world (including seven Olympic Games, more then ten years of alpine ski world cup and world championships for a variety of sports).
From more then twenty years I’m developing new ideas and schemes for immortalizing fragments of the world around us through my camera lens. I signed some books including the one in 2006 “Iceland frames 1-50”.
You can look at some of my recent photo portfolios on this site (500px.com) or in this one (myportfolio.com), or if you'd like to get in touch, feel free to say hello through any of the links below.
Man of sport.
At the end of the nineties four times at the start of the car race 24 hours of Daytona in the GT category (6th place as best result), winner of the 1000 Km of Monza in the GT category, winner of other endurance races.
From 2014 a marathoner and a finisher of the series Abbott Six Stars World Marathon Majors (Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, New York City, Tokyo).
I live in the earth planet, always on the move.
